I bet you have used a program called Lime wire many times to download music. I’m sure most of you that have gotten a virus from using lime wire too. If you want to download music with a much lower chance of getting a virus i would download using .torrent files.
To do this you must first download a program in which I use personally called Bit lord. After setting the program up there is a search option. In here you can enter a name of a music artist,a movie,a game, or even a program all for free.Once you enter the name you click on the link of your choice then download the file. A pop up will come up and ask if you would like to open or save the file.ALWAYS OPEN.When you open you can search what exactly you are downloading and disable anything that may look suspicious or even something that you wouldn’t want. Then once you are done continue on and the download will begin. Once the download is finished right click the file and choose browse download directory and there’s your file/s. Go back to the program and click on remove. A list will drop down make sure to click REMOVE TASK ONLY or your file will be deleted. That is how it is done.
