Today I am going to teach you how to convert dvds to itunes format so that you can play them on your ipod.

Step 1:go to this link and download dvd decrypter http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/ after it has finished downloading, run dvd decrypter.

Step 2:Insert the dvd you wish to decrypt

Step 3:Press the decrypt button

Step 4:Now wait 10-15 minutes for it to finish

Step 5:Once the dvd is done decrypting. Go to this link and download handbrake http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php once it has finished downloading, run handbrake.

Step 6:press source and select video ts file

Step 7:locate your video file that you created when you decrypted your dvd, mine is in my local disc and under the title polar express.

Step 8:select the destination you want your video to go I put mine in “videos” but I think you can also put it in “my videos”

Step 9:Select a preset depending on your ipod, mine is a ipod touch so I selected “Iphone & Ipod Touch”

Step 10:then press the encode button(encoding may take 1.5-2 hours depending on the length of your movie

Step 11:next you will have to install itunes assuming that you don’t then here is the link to download it http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Step 12:open up itunes

Step 13:click on movies

Step 14:click on the file tab then click libraryl, then click on import library

Step 15:locate your movie file mine is in videos but it may also be in my videos

Step 16:select the movie file that you just made mine is”The polar Express” in this example

Once you are done you are ready to watch your favorite movie in a whole new portable world!
