Limewire is a great site to download music for free – And it is legal.
Limewire is an excellent way to download free music that is not illegal. To download limewire is simple. Just go on google and type: “download lime wire5″, then go to the site and download it. Easy! Limewire is free to download and once you have it, you can download many things like: music, video’s, pictures, documents, and more!
If you want a faster limewire, you can buy limewire pro for faster downloads, but if you don’t want to pay you can just get the free version, it basically the same just with power boost making downloads maybe 1-3 minutes faster.
Limewire isn’t illegal because it’s not actually downloading. It’s called file sharing. What this is, is just like giving your friend some pictures over MSN or something, but this is worldwide and has a wider selection! You can also log onto your G-mail account on limewire 5 and chat with your palls. If they have limewire too you can share your files with their files.

How can you possibly justify this as being legal? Are the musicians being paid anything? Was the songwriter paid anything?
This has become something of a sore point for me, because my wife is a songwriter and musician. She gets paid when someone buys one of her CD’s, or downloads one of her songs from a legal site such as iTunes. She gets absolutely nothing if someone takes one from a “file sharing” site.
You need to understand that not all musicians are rich. We certainly aren’t. Studio time costs about $200 per hour, and recording one song can be a whole day’s work. That’s not to mention the hours it takes her to compose a song, and then to rehearse it over and over until it’s good enough to perform for others. I won’t even mention how much her piano cost, or how much her college music degree cost.
So how about this idea: If you want to hear a song for free, call your local radio station and request it.
Final thought: You’re getting paid for writing this little article, aren’t you? How long did it take you, maybe 15 minutes? How would you feel if I copied it and sent it to thousands of people, and didn’t pay you anything? And don’t forget, you didn’t spend years learning to play the piano, or spend hours of time composing. You dashed it off in just 15 minutes, and you’d feel as if I was stealing your pay. Does it make sense now?
Don’t download any music that you didn’t pay for. It’s as simple as that.
